Besides visiting Georgetown in Penang, Balik Pulau is a place where you should also visit in Penang.
It’s a place where you can chill and enjoy the nature. So where is Balik Pulau? It is located southwest part of Penang Island.
1) Goat Farm

Saanen Dairy Goat Farm is a place where you can experience goat feeding and buy fresh goat milk products. Don’t be shock but the minute when you arrive there, you are welcomed by the “nice” smell of goat farm. Mr Ho is the owner of the goat farm and he started goat breeding as a hobby when he is just 7 years old. You can feed the goat with grass which is FOC. And you must really try their fresh goat milk, nutmeg yogurt drink, goat milk pudding and goat milk brown sugar mantou! It’s really delicious!
2) Wall Murals
Besides the wall murals in Georgetown, you should also visit wall murals art in Balik Pulau. They are drawn by a Siberian-born Russian artist, Julia Volchkova who draw pieces portraying Penangites local culture.

3) Fruits
The Penangites would prefer to go up Balik Pulau to hunt for durians! You can visit Lim Brothers Farm or FCS Durian Orchard for fruits and these 2 are quite reputable fruit stores.

One of local dish that you must try! You can go to Laksa Janggus or Kim Seng Kopitiam to try it out. You will definitely like it as even Penangites craves for it too.

The design are more on like Malay’s traditional houses but there is an outdoor swimming pool where you can chill yourself. You can also pamper yourself with traditional Malay massage. This place allows you to be close to nature.
