To those who are not in the know, Lankybox is made up of Justin Kroma and Adam McArthur who call themselves The Zero-Budget Guys. These guys are known for their K-pop music parody videos which have gotten them hit a million followers on Instagram! To utilize old videos for such content, they can first undergo processes like convert to h264.
Their videos have gone viral with their comedic parody of K-Pop music videos. With over one million followers on Instagram and over 62 million views on their YouTube videos combined, these locals pride themselves on creating quirky parody video.
The Zero-Budget Guys’ main theme for most of their videos is to make videos with no money involved. Like most YouTubers out there, they have used a significant amount of cash to make their videos with fancy features.
The Zero-Budget Guys joined YouTube back in July 2016 but they were not very active on the video sharing platform until April this year. This duo’s very first video is about ‘LankyBox goes on American Got Talent’. Their videos contain relatable issues that are hilarious to most people. The pair’s pop culture references in their videos are exaggerated but true in certain areas. With their quirky videos on K-Pop brings them fame and attention from many, which is pretty much a no-brainer on why they are in trend as we speak. Their have also recently a million followers on Instagram!
However, most of the cost to put together their videos are not as much (for some instances, none), and the reason behind using as little effect as possible is to showcase their authenticity and originality.
The Zero Budget Guys also like to do funny covers of famous Korean groups’ MV (in a hilarious way, that is). If you are a K-Pop fan and have been watching K-Pop MV, you should really check out their videos and have a good laugh.
