Everyone faces rejection but have you ever thought about how you can deal and recover from it?
Happy Friday guys! Here are some reminders for all of us who might be struggling with this.
1. Don’t ever let rejection stop you from trying again
All of us have those moments where we think that we’re all alone in this and you feel like you’re nothing right? Well, the most successful person alive has also faced rejections to become who they are today. The most important thing is not to dwell in the rejection but you need to always ask yourself, “Is there anything that I can learn from this experience?”, “What can I do to move forward and do better next time?”
2. Lean on someone that you love and supports you no matter what
There are plenty of people by your side even if you feel that you don’t have anyone, you will have at least one that you think of while reading this. We can spend some quality time with them or maybe you can even spend time with yourself, speak to yourself, don’t forget you’re a friend to yourself too! Buy something for yourself, visit your favorite cafe, just do whatever you like, you know?
3. Acknowledge the emotions that you’re feeling
You can feel angry, sad after a rejection but don’t forget to tell yourself that it’s just a feeling, it’s not really who you are and what you are. It’s just your thoughts. Practice journaling, writing down your strength and read it to yourself. If you can’t get the people around you to affirm you, affirm yourself. Self-affirmation is more important for you to identify yourself and recognize your worth.
