What can I say – Subang people really loooove their food. So much that we’ve probably established our own list of eateries that we patronize loyally over the years. No judging okay, but this one’s mine.
Spread the foodie love people!
1. Uncle Soon Fried Rice, SS15
Pretty much a quintessential staple food for Taylor’s and Inti students in SS15, this heavenly fried rice is one many hold dear to heart – humble ingredients coming together under the magnificent heat of the sizzling wok, resulting in an extremely satisfying meal that caters to the student budget (you know it’s true).
Bonus tip: Add-on Fried Egg + Special Chili = Party in yo mouth

2. Logenhaus Roast & Grill
Specializing in German cuisine, Logenhaus is probably the top choice for Subang families when it comes to celebratory dinners and fancy occasions. What’s there not to like – homely atmosphere with a gorgeous wood-based interior, affordable prices and impressive variety of Western fusion offerings prove to be a winning formula for this cosy restaurant that has stood the test of time.

3. Restoran Carlos Two
Skewered meat grilled over the fiery embers of charcoal, I’ll have to hand it to Carlos Two that serves (arguably) the best satay in Subang. Situated the same row as Pizza Hut, this modest eatery gets pretty busy come night time, with chairs and tables being extended right up to the middle of the road.

4. Kaima, JS Mamak Lorong SS15
Kaima, a Cantonese label for ‘godmother’ has somehow curiously manifested itself into a hybrid form of a dish in Subang. For those who are clueless, it’s basically mashed up burger patties fried with eggs and onions, topped with chilli sauce and mayonnaise. If you think that sounds disgusting, YOU GOTTA TRY IT. And the one and only place you’ll be able to taste this particularly exotic dish is situated right at a hidden alley (hence the name Lorong), same row as Gong Cha.
Where: 5, Jalan SS 15/7, Ss 15, 47500 Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia
5. Nasi Lemak Panas Warisan Sambal Opah
Opah is probably one of the few places you can have a simple meal with just…RM1!
Although small in serving, one packet comes adequately equipped with a slice of egg, a sprinkle of ikan bilis and nuts, and topped off with a dollop of heavenly sambal. Think of it as an alternative to the ‘boat noodle’ concept – load up on several packets and perhaps you can also tambah some lauk such as chicken, eggs, and cuttlefish to make your meal a satisfying one.

Last sentence. It’s suppose to be ‘tambah’ not ‘tambak’. Tambak is like in ‘Tambak Johor’.
Thanks for pointing it out. Already amended the typo. Cheers!
