But please don’t forget there are many more Marvel hero spin-offs that will be coming soon!
Here are some of the spin-offs that you can look forward to:
1. Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 3
It is set to release in 2020, but an exact date on when Vol. 3 will be released is still a matter to discuss, as the previous director of Guardians of The Galaxy (James Gunn) was fired due to controversial tweets.
2. Gambit
Channing Tatum is to star in the Gambit-spinoff, a thief with supernatural abilities to turn inanimate objects to explosives.
The release date was initially set for February, but 2 directors have dropped out due to personal reasons, so the release date has been pushed to the 13th of March, 2020.
3. Dark Phoenix
The Game of Thrones star, Sophie Turner, takes on the role of a younger Jean Gray as the movie depicts the evolution of Jean Gray’s power.
The release date is set to be on the 7th of June, 2019.
4. Spider-Man: Far From Home
Spider-Man will be taking it international, as Peter Parker goes to Europe for a school vacation. The movie will be set post-Endgame, and we cannot wait for more Peter and MJ moments! Plus, Jake Gyllenhaal is starring as the villain, what’s not to like!?
Release date for ‘Far From Home’ is on the 5th of July 2019.
5. The New Mutants
The New Mutants features new actors, as they are held in confinement while discovering their newfound abilities. It will be coming to screens on the 2nd of August, 2019.
6. Into The Spider-Verse 2
After showcasing the different Spiders from different universe in the first Spider-Verse movie, Spider-Verse 2 could possibly focus more on protagonist, Miles Morales, and how he controls his newfound powers.
7. Black Panther 2
Though the plot of the movie and the exact date has yet to be confirmed, we’re expecting Black Panther 2 to be more on the origins of the Wakandan tribe, and a new villain?
8. Doctor Strange 2
An exact date has not been confirmed yet, but we hear that Cumberbatch’s solo hero-film is in the developmental stages. Maybe we’ll see events unfolding for Doctor Strange after the Endgame war, or events that lead to it?
9. Venom 2
With Woody Harrelson’s sinister appearance at the end of ‘Venom’, we can definitely expect a potential villain to carry the plot on to challenge Tom Hardy’s character. But aside from a confirmed continuation, nothing has been confirmed.
10. Morbius
Jared Leto will be playing Morbius The Living Vampire, a biochemist who conducted a self-inflicted experiment that went south. With his stellar performance as The Joker in DC’s ‘Suicide Squad’, we expect nothing but bone-chilling acting from him.
Morbius will be expected to release on the 31st of July, 2020.
11. Black Widow
Since 2014, Marvel has been promising a spin-off for Johansson’s ‘Black Widow’, and after many many years, it’s finally ACTUALLY going to happen.
Nothing has been confirmed yet, but we’re hoping Marvel comes out with a trailer or, even better, a release date!
