Here are some ways to make yourself drink more water!
1.Try changing the temperature of the water.
This makes it less boring. Sometimes drinking cold water is nice, sometimes it’s not. Warm it up when you want to, make it cold when you want to! This doesn’t just make it more enjoyable but also aids digestion and the prevention of constipation.
2.Buy a water bottle with a hook so you can bring it everywhere!
We often forget our water at home or in the office as it could be difficult to bring any water container around with us all day. That’s why to make it easier on yourself, buy a water bottle with a hook so it’s easier to carry.
3.Buy a cool water bottle that makes you feel pumped
Bringing new things with us always pump our mood and energy up. Therefore picking out a fun water bottle that suits you will make you even want to drink water more in a COOL way!
4.Set a reminder as your phone screen lock wallpaper or use an app
There are many apps nowadays made just to remind us to drink water at specific intervals. You can try downloading this app called ‘Drink Water Reminder N Tracker’ or set a reminder on your phone to stay hydrated.
5.Eat food that’s spicy
If you can add some spice to your meal, you will find yourself drinking a lot more water than usual.
6.Use a straw to drink more and faster
If you’re using a straw, you’ll find yourself downing water much faster than usual. We don’t really know why, but we often drink more water with a straw. Maybe it’s just way more enjoyable.
7.Add flavour to your water
Add some excitement to your water by adding slices of fresh fruit like lemon or mint leaves! It’ll keep you from getting bored.
8.Put sticky notes to where you easily snack to remind yourself
People get thirsty from eating too many snacks. So when grabbing your favourite snack, you can put a reminder on the fridge or snack cabinet.
